Our club is based in the Texas Hill Country (Kerrville), the Colorado Front Range and the State of Arkansas  (owing to the nomadic residential proclivities of the club coordinator). However, we participate in events in other states and seek participants from all areas.

The club was established in 2006 to build interest in relay running events. The contact person is Ben Wiley at  benwiley@att.net  and at 303-746-3092. Please call if you would like to participate in an upcoming event posted here or if you need additional information.  Runners of all abilities are invited, including disabled participants.

CLUB RESULTS IN 2012:

Oklahoma City Marathon Relay, 4/29/12 - Here 4 U Trish Nix  consisting of Ben, Shawna, Breannon, & Geoffrey finished 17th of 230 "Open Mixed" teams & 56th of 643 total teams in a time of 3:46:03. Truly "A Race to Remember."

The Woodlands Marathon 3 person relay, 3/3/12, The Woodlands, TX.  Congratulations to Kim E. (2nd leg), J.C. (anchor leg) and Ben (lead-off leg) for a winning time of 3:14:16.3!!!

Run the Line Half Marathon Relay on 2/19/12 in Texarkana, USA in a winning time (of 31 - 2 person teams) of 1:30:35.7.  Congratulations to Lewis (Texas anchor leg) and Ben (Arkansas lead-off leg)!!

CLUB RESULTS IN 2011:

World Run Day Relay on 11/6/11:  8K Solo Relay in 9 legs with a team of Murriel Electa Wiley (2.6K), Ben Wiley (4.4K) and D.J. Grahm (1K) in a time of 42:45 in Nashville, AR at the Nashville, AR High School track - Home of the Scrappers.

Lady of the Lakes Relay on July 16, 2011:  Araceli and Ben - running as Fifties and Fast - placed 4th of 12 mixed masters (over 40) teams in the 2 person relay event in a time of 2:39:52 (7 sec. under the team goal)!

Estes Park Marathon Relay on June 12th in Estes Park, CO.  Not only did we win, but we even made the sports section of the Estes Park Trail Gazette with a story and action photo!!  Our team of Amber Fischer (Team Captain), Ben Wiley, Lewis Hoffman, Alexandra Lee and Devin Fischer, under the team name Fast Friends and Slow Sloggers, the winning time was 3:43:22.  What a terrific effort from all five!!!!!

CLUB RESULTS IN 2010:

ESTES PARK MARATHON RELAY - 6/13/10 - in a winning time of 3:11:34.2. This marked the Club's first overall relay winning effort in a major event (transcending division winner) and a new Club record for the marathon relay.   

Congratulations to the team running under the banner of Freedom Service Dogs, as this was a dual charity benefit for that nonprofit in addition to the American Cancer Society.  The victors were:  Lewis, leading off, Ramon going second, Daniel for the middle leg, Ben running 4th, and KariAnne with a spectacular anchor. 

COLORADO COLFAX MARATHON RELAY - 5/16/10

Congratulations to the COLFAX RAZORBAX, consisting of Kim, Amy, Jim, Ramon and James for a top 10% result for Charity Support entries (Colorado Canine Rescue) in a time of 3:50:27.  That effort was 14th of 150 teams, and 88th of 444 overall (top 20%)!  Ben shared their glory as designated driver and "RAZORBAX" flag waver.

PLATTE RIVER HALF MARATHON RELAY - 4/11/10

Congratulations to our 2 teams!!  Amber, Devin, and James competed under the name of, well... JamesDevinAmber, and finished 13th of 45 coed teams in a time of 1:50:09.

Meanwhile, the charity support team of Lewis, Ben, and Amy, under the name Colorado Canine Rescue, finished 4th among coed teams and established a new half marathon relay club record in a time of 1:37:29!  Thanks go to Ramon who served as designated driver.

LITTLE ROCK MARATHON RELAY on March 7, 2010 - Competing as UU RelayRunners of the Rockies - 6th place of 200 teams; first place of 6 teams in our division - in a club record time of 3:26:04 (7:52 per mile).  Congratulations to:  Stephanie, Ethan, and Ben!!!

CLUB RESULTS IN 2009:

DENVER MARATHON RELAY on October 18, 2009 - Competing as RUN N RAZORBACK, our team consisted of James, Amber, Devin and Andrea who finished 81st of 307 relay teams in a time of 3:48:20.  Congratulations all, including Ben, the designated driver and wanna be coach! 

COLFAX MARATHON RELAY on May 17, 2009 - representing Colorado Canine Rescue - completed in a net time of 3:44:51.  Congratulations to Jason, Devin, Amber, Kim, and Ben!!!!!  - 6th place of 44 teams in the mixed gender charity supporter category. 

PLATTE RIVER HALF-MARATHON RELAY on April 5th - completed in 2:00:28 (42nd place) under the team name of Moo, Mag & Match (abbreviations for the names of our dogs).

CLUB RESULTS IN 2008:

Denver Marathon Relay completed in 3:39:31. Congratulations to Mike, Amber, Ben and Chris.  Finish was 24th of 155 mixed gender relay teams and overall the finish was in the top 18% of all teams completing the event.   

Colorado-Colfax Relay in 3:40:16 - 4th place of 52 teams in the mixed gender Charity (Freedom Service Dogs) Team category.  Congratulations to Jason, Vic, Amy, Kim and Jim.

CLUB RESULTS IN 2007:

Colorado-Colfax Marathon Relay (May 20) - 3:31:45 - 11th place of 194 Mixed Co-ed Teams.  With of Team of Ben, Jason, Amy, Kim and Paul.   

PLATTE RIVER Half Marathon Relay (April 1) - 1:57:46 for 12th place in the Co-ed Division.  Ben, Kim and Jason running under the name Platte River Rat Pack.  (We beat our goal of going under 2 hours!) 

Club Results in 2006:

PLATTE RIVER RELAY (13.8 miles on April 2) - 1:48:30 for 10th place overall/5th for male teams. Congratulations to Ben, Jason and Victor!

COLORADO/COLFAX MARATHON RELAY (May 21) - 3:37:49 for 20th place among 176 teams. Congratulations Jason, Ben, Amy, Kim, & Jim under name of XTREME JOG.

ALL COMERS TRACK MEET in Boulder (July 6) - 4 X 400 meter relay in 4:36.3 - winning team of Ben, Noelle, Brianna & Jason - under name SnoCapXpress.

ALL COMERS TRACK MEET in Boulder (July 20) - 4 X 400 meter relay in 4:13 - winning team of Ben, Jason, Steve & Carl - Congratulations (Running under the name Wiley Coyote.)

ALL COMERS TRACK MEET in Boulder (August 3) - 4 X 400 meter relay in 4:41.5 - 2nd place team of Ben, Noelle, Brianna & Jason under name Wiley Coyote.

ALL COMERS TRACK MEET in Boulder (August 19) - 4 X 400 meter relay in 4:36.2 - 1st place team of Ben, Jill, Steve and Dave under name Wiley Coyote.

DENVER MARATHON RELAY - (October 15) - 4:11:54 - Vic for 20 miles and Ben for 10K - Placed 106th of 179 relay teams despite having 2 runners rather than 4.
